Finance Controller (FC)
Key responsibilities:
Financial Accounting, Reporting, Compliances and Controls:
ü Set-up Accounting system and Internal Control system with complete control over chart of accounts/authority.
ü Responsible for ensuring book keeping, maintaining books of accounts for the organization in Tally for each state separately with cost centre and project-wise accounting, the key activities would involve month end closing, leading to Funds Flow, P&L and BS
ü Responsible for coordination and closure of Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Internal Audit, HR Processes, ESI, PF, Professional Tax etc
ü Responsible for taxation review and compliance, handling notices/ demands/ litigation as well as representing organisation in front of government bodies
ü Setting up and constant monitoring of basic finance processes for the organization, invoice review, employees claim reimbursement, petty cash etc.
ü Participating in negotiation with vendor's along with Procurement team & business to ensure best deals for the organization so as to control the Opex for the business.
ü Ability to review & perform due diligence for all agreement and develop a checklist and roadmap for compliances of all those contracts including government contracts
ü Identify and flag risks impacting project margin, proposing corrective actions including accrual bookings and needed provisions. Also, monthly cost accruals of business for various projects.
ü Presentation of monthly financials to the Stakeholders of the organization thru Management Reporting Deck
ü Responsible for preparing the detail of Revenue & Cost reports for the financial score cards & reporting
Management Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting:
ü Responsible for preparation of the AOP (annual operating plan), profit estimates and periodical forecasts.
ü Review of collection and revenue accounting and plan for recovery of all outstanding.
ü Produce, review and present monthly analysis of results (costs, headcount, Opex) versus budget and forecasts and have ownership of the same.
ü Review & approval of various cost rationalization initiatives, reporting & tracker.
ü Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions, doing cost benchmarking across various business proposals etc.
ü Review & advice on different ongoing & upcoming projects for the organization & tracking the current progress of the projects to ensure that the project is not going off-track.
ü new business development, RFP / tender evaluation, business case preparation, Pricing & Margin analysis
ü Respond to any queries and requests from Business Head and clients for reporting and analysis.
Treasury Management:
ü Ensuring in time Funding and cash flow management
ü Relationship building with Bankers & Clients to strengthen relationship for smooth business delivery
Qualification
CA (Inter)/ ICWA / MBA Finance with 10-12 years of experience of which recent years must be in multi-branch locational service organizations.
Skills Required
ü Business and commercial acumen and flair for understanding contracts
ü Candidates must have strong experience in MIS, Analysis and Excellent Analytical skills
ü Superior communication skills
ü Liaise with banks and other government departments
ü Team player, Advanced Excel / Data Churning tools and reporting skills
